Dillingen is a very nice town with some buildings worth seeing. Sebastian Kneipp spent his studies there. A Kneipp circular path remembers him. If you are considering a stop there, the Osteria zur goldenen Traube is highly recommended.

Wertingen first appeared in a document in 1122. Between 1200 and 1250 Wertingen was provided with a wall, moat and palisade ring and raised to the market.
