Hall church with hipped roof, Romanesque in its core, rebuilt several times

A Romanesque building at its core, it has been redesigned several times. The façade was redesigned in the 16th century and again in 1840. One of the oldest historic town halls in Germany.

During the summer months, the Weißensee Swimming Pool, opened in 1934, is a popular attraction for residents and visitors of the town of Weißensee. Located directly next to the campsite, the attractive location and spacious design of the swimming complex offer fun and relaxation for young and old. In addition to a swimming pool with a total water surface of 750 square meters, visitors seeking peace and relaxation will find a relaxation area and play area. The play area features two volleyball courts. A children's pool is also available. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the pool. The pool is open from May to September.

We didn't see much on our little stroll through Weissensee, as our main goal was the Chinese Garden, but on the little tour we discovered a few things that we will take a closer look at on our next visit: e.g. the town hall, church and castle. We will also pay a visit to the windmill.

Very beautiful and designed with a lot of attention to detail. I was happy to pay the €5 entrance fee because it has to be maintained. Entry used to be free, but I don't think that's right. Simply beautiful 😍
