We took a break today on our way back from the Blaueishütte, and I highly recommend stopping there. Delicious food and incredibly friendly and attentive service. If the journey weren't so long for us, we'd definitely come more often. 🥇

I like it here because it's not that big, the operators are very friendly and accommodating and because you have a beautiful view. But as I said, I think it's pleasant that it's not a huge hut but small and nice 😇

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, the cake is very good.

The promising Watzmannhaus serves as a base for climbing the Watzmann. The hut is open from May to October. There are 200 beds in the dormitory and shared rooms. The effort is worth it, the view is magnificent and if you want, go further up and the view is breathtaking 😉
