I prefer to drive the route to the Högl the other way around, i.e. from Piding via Sechshögl and then to Anger.

The Hubertus Hütte is no longer a public Hütte and is not open for use. This is because of vandalism and leaving trash. You will occasionally see the people who lease this Hütte from the Forest Service parked at this location. The drinking water is not tested but can be used.

Here you can grab a cold beer, shandy or even a goat's cheese from the fridge while enjoying the wonderful view! But don't forget to pay! There are also benches around the hut!

Magnificent views of the Untersberg, the Reichenhall valley basin and the Berchtesgaden Alps. And all this from the beer garden.
