beautiful cycle path directly on the Danube

Ulm Town Hall is easily recognizable by its opulent early Renaissance exterior painting. The oldest part of the building is the southeastern main building, which was built in 1370 as a "new department store." The building was first referred to as a town hall in 1419. In the course of the 15th century, the council chamber on the south side received windows framed in Gothic architecture (with six electoral figures) as well as the double windows on the east side. The richly decorated astronomical clock was installed around 1520. The lavish facade painting was also extended to the old building and shows didactic depictions of virtues, commandments and vices. The painting that can be seen today dates from 1900, when the painting, which had been largely destroyed by the weather, was restored or recreated in the spirit of the authentic parts.

You should plan some time for the city of Ulm, a great old town and especially the fishing district are well worth seeing.

The fountain with the Marian column in the center of the square is a central meeting point and a beautiful addition to the atmosphere. The market square in Günzburg is definitely worth a visit! It is one of the most beautiful market squares in Swabia and impresses with its historic charm. The baroque town hall with its striking facade is a real eye-catcher and the landmark of the market square. It's worth it!

A worthwhile destination on the tour. An impressive little town, with many historic, impressive buildings. The small streets in the fishing district should not be missed. Great!

Ulm is a beautiful city with many sights. In the city center is the imposing Ulm Minster, a centuries-old church in the Gothic style.
