Not much of Work XXIV (Lower Danube Bastion) is visible here. A connecting wall ran from it to the Danube Tower (Work XXV), located here directly on the bank and next to the bike path. The Danube Tower now houses a youth club. In an emergency, an iron chain was supposed to be stretched across the Danube here. https://www.atarimuseum.de/festung/ul25.html
