Always a beautiful place on the Mangfall near Grubmühle. For me, the rapids were the middle of my hike from Darching to Bruckmühl today. Absolutely to recommend.

It goes along the edge of the forest, no traffic, no disturbing industrial noise, just you and your bike for undisturbed cycling pleasure

Perfectly paved route through the forest along the S-Bahn line towards Holzkirchen. In comparison, for example, to the Perlacher Forst, there is significantly less going on here, so that driving is totally relaxed. In between there is also a connection in the direction of Lanzenhaar/Otterloh.

In damp weather or after rain, be sure to wear STURDY SHOES and take a walking stick with you. The interior of Mangfallknie is a beautiful natural wilderness, the trails are not "maintained" (fortunately). Absolutely not suitable for people with restricted mobility, small children, prams, mountain bikes, etc. They prefer to stay on the wider forest paths. The knee is a wild experience - keep it!

The Ayinger Bräustüberl and its beer garden is a worthwhile destination or stopover in the southeast of Munich - everything just fits.
