A pumping station in the Weidach Valley, a cultural-historical monument. Built in 1893/94, the building is beautifully situated in the forest, with a wooden bridge over the Weidach River right next to it. A water wheel is also still in operation here.

The Erzgrube Nagold Dam serves as flood protection in the Upper Nagold Valley. With a total length of 2,850 meters, a width of up to 250 meters, and a maximum depth of 35 meters, it is one of Baden-Württemberg's largest water reservoirs.

One of the most beautiful water houses. Built over 130 years ago, it's rightly a true landmark and a listed building.

There are comfort columns around the pavilion. Here you can sit and take in everything.

The forest lake invites you to take walks and hikes in nature. The Wellness Forest, also located near the lake, offers further opportunities for recreation and relaxation in nature.

Due to its location in a deep hollow and the surrounding tall trees, the natural wind influence on the lake is significantly reduced, which impairs water circulation. To counteract this, a grid-powered forced water circulation system was installed to ensure sustainable regeneration of the water body.

The long loop is approximately 6 km. If you take the shortcut over the bridge, it's approximately 4 km. The entire route is paved. You can stop for refreshments halfway through at Seeheimer or at the Seekiosk in Erzgrube.
