This is the only bridge in the Monbach valley. On the paved path towards Monakam, a few rocks lie picturesquely on top of each other and are popular for taking photos. The stone signpost is also noteworthy. The beautiful but unpaved path runs along the stream. On this path, the stream is crossed without any bridges. If you follow the stream further upstream, it is a little quieter.

Most hikers get out of the gorge here. The bridge has been renewed, but the beautiful old sandstone signpost is still there.

Very mystical place. The last public execution took place in 1818 🤭. I would not recommend visiting in the dark. "Gertrude is watching you" 😱

The Stubenfelsen is a mighty group of rocks consisting of several large rocks. The rocks are stratigraphically placed in the upper scree horizon of the Middle Buntsandstein.
