The Witches' Tower is one of the preserved towers of the former city fortifications. Next to the Witches' Tower is the oldest half-timbered house in Babenhausen; it was built in 1484.

The name is wrong here. The “Breschturm” got its name from the fact that a cannon ball closed a hole in the tower during an attack on Babenhausen. This created a “breech”.

The Witches' Tower is located directly on the historic city wall.

In summer, the “Dreieichenhain Castle Festival” takes place in the castle. The schedule includes a wide variety of performances/events, from plays to concerts.

The view along the old city wall is simply great. The old town and the old city wall, most of which are still preserved, impressed me the most anyway.

Hayn Castle is the high medieval ruin of a low castle in Dreieichenhain.

Beautifully located, a certain brackishness gives it its charm. As a cyclist you should be careful, especially on weekends, there is a lot going on and both walks and one or two e-bike riders have not yet internalized the traffic rules and their validity on forest paths.
