To mark its 20th anniversary in 2013, the Elsterschloss-Gymnasium Support Association commissioned the creation and installation of an art installation on the grounds of the present-day Elsterschloss-Gymnasium. As part of the "Art at the Castle" project, a bronze casting model of Elsterschloss Elsterwerda was created. Hirschstein Castle (also Neuhirschstein) is a castle that emerged from a medieval castle complex. It rises imposingly in the shape of a ship on a 25 meter high, triangular rock on the left bank of the Elbe opposite Neuseußlitz. The original railings with coats of arms and light holders in the castle garden are great.
