On the 8 km long circular hiking trail, you can admire the awakening and sprouting nature on foot or by bike. The path was renovated or expanded in 2009. In summer, young and old can frolic on the lake's beaches. Well-equipped facilities invite you to play beach volleyball, sunbathe or have a barbecue. For lovers of water sports, the lake offers ideal conditions for surfing, sailing, rowing or canoeing. The annual dragon boat race is a highlight.

The alternation between high and low water levels is particularly well known for Lake Einfeld, where so-called “hunger stones” become visible at extremely low water levels.

The rest forest begins directly after walking between the ponds. Right at the beginning there is a small place of worship where you can rest on several benches. A sign asks you to only walk (i.e. do not push or ride bicycles). If you walk along the paths there you will pass several other, but smaller places of worship. I can only warmly recommend stopping by here.
