As the name suggests, the Schrammstein Gate is the gateway to the Schrammsteine, home to some truly impressive rock formations that are truly worth seeing. In places, you'd think you were on a sandy beach as you trudge through the finest sandbox sand. Erosion has left clear marks on many of the rocks.
