Camping Bleiau near Gustavsburg is a nice camping site. However, you should arrive by 6 p.m. It is only accessible through a gate. Either call in advance or come early.

Very nice bike path next to fields and meadows along the Main. Adjacent park benches invite you to linger. A dream setting in spring/summer.

Once you leave Seligenstadt towards Mainflingen, things soon become quiet.

around Seligenstadt it is very nice on the Mainradweg, great area!

It's not a highlight, it's just a bridge. Do you need it if you want to go from Hesse to Bavaria and don't have a boat with you!?

I lived in the area for a long time, but it wasn't until today that I finally found my way to the castle. Very impressive and in very good shape.

AB is always worth a visit. There are many great corners and you can really relax on the Main.

Yes, it's usually nice to drive, lots of highlights along the way. However, on the weekend when the weather is nice, it is so crowded that cycling requires full concentration and a lot of caution. Then it is better to drive over the Kiliansbrücke or the ferry in Seligenstadt on the right side of the Main. The quality of the paths is also very good on the right side of the Main.

Alzenau Castle was built around 1400. The complex roughly describes an oval, which is divided into a large, walled forecourt and the inner castle with inner courtyard and palas.

Must see the Johannisburg in Aschaffenburg. It can be seen from a long way off. The old town of Aschaffenburg didn't blow me away like that.
