This is a very well maintained ruined castle, freely accessible with plenty of rest stops. A short circular path leads around the ruins.

Currently (October 2021) there is no prohibition sign to be found. The bike fits well through the obstacle, then it goes steeply uphill (tarred). Great view of the surrounding area from above.

from the small village of Grenzau you have a beautiful view of the castle, also in the beer garden, which always has cool drinks ready for hikers in the village.
