The Hohlestein is a 476 meter high basalt cone and is located in the Habichtswald Nature Park near Kassel.

The elf beech tower: An observation tower that is currently closed due to dilapidation. The tower built in 1879 by the Cassel Beautification Association with masonry blocks made of Habichtswald basalt tuff was inaugurated on September 18, 1879.
