Geberbach and Pond Information: The Geberbach is a tributary of the Elbe River. In its upper reaches, the Geberbach flows northeast past Rippien, Golberode, and Goppeln until it is dammed below the ruins of the Gebergrund Mill, forming a large pond. The subsequent dam in Kauscha serves as flood control and was completed in 1985.

The Heidemühlenteich On hot summer days you can cool off at the natural bathing beach at the Heidemühlenteich, which is surrounded by forest. There is a peaceful coexistence of (nude) bathers and anglers at the nearby campsite.

The Geberbach reservoir exudes a positive sense of calm. It is very idyllic there and invites you to take a break. I will go there more often. The lake is recommended.
