Great hiking trail along the cliffs.

Since 1885, a simple lantern burned on a fisherman's house. It was Heiligenhafen's first lighthouse, guiding ships into the harbor. In 1907, a 12-meter-high, round lighthouse was built, but it only lasted 30 years and was finally replaced by the current square tower in 1938. There are no tours available. The cliffs are located to the left of Heiligenhafen, behind the inland lake, when viewed from the land. You can either walk along the dirt road near the holiday park, past the Galloways, or stroll along the beach (although there is no paved path).
