Here, a modern tunnel passes under the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Nordbahn railway line, which has run along this stretch since 1875. I had to go through it quite hunched over. So, tall people, watch out! 😉

The historic viaduct from 1847, which carried the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Nordbahn railway until 1875, is a beautiful structure from the early days of railways in Hesse. Definitely worth seeing! 👌
