I fell in love with the “Schänzle”, as people here call the Gasthaus zur Schwedenschanze, at first sight. It's a mountain inn like you rarely find. The restaurant is cosy and the view outside is fantastic.

They are desperately looking for a new tenant. The memorial house and tower will remain closed until then

Here you can very well strengthen and rest. You can also stay overnight.

Definitely stop off; super charming Black Forest "Alm" hut with character and lovely operators!

Fantastic view. Opened on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays during the summer months.

You have to work a little hard to get up here, but it's a really great destination
