The tower hut on the Mooswaldkopf, which was built in 1904, was rebuilt in 1923/24 as the "Memorial House of the Fallen of the World War 1914-18 by the Württemberg Black Forest Club". Planning and construction management was Prof. Bonatz transferred, the builder of the Stuttgart main station. The hiking center "Gedächtnishaus Fohrenbühl" of the Black Forest Association is a popular destination. From the platform of the 24-meter-high observation tower offers a panoramic view over the Middle Black Forest.
