멋진 전망을 자랑하는 훌륭한 중산입니다. 북쪽 코의 등반은 힘들지만 보람이 있습니다. 서쪽의 헨 콤까지 간다면 모스데일 횡단은 발밑이 매우 젖을 것입니다.

Mosedale Beck에서부터 험난한 여정입니다. 오래된 OS 지도에는 더 이상 존재하지 않는 경로가 표시되어 있습니다. Crummock Water와 Buttermere의 전망과 Wainwright Tick은 그만한 가치가 있습니다.

If cycling west to east, Komoot may ask you to loop around the headland to exit. My advice is instead to head back the way you entered (along the road) - I was informed, rightly so, that bikes were not technically permitted on the headland path since it wasn't a bridleway. It is *very* narrow and rideable surfaces disappear for large chunks. As a keen hike-a-biker, I persevered with Komoot's suggested route, however it would have been much simpler and easier to have gone back and around. Please learn from my mistake, especially if weather conditions are miserable (as they were for me)!

The official wainwright point is underwhelming. A tiny cairn and you pass the best views on your way.

A good parking spot to pitch up for your hike. The beer garden has a great view of Mellbreak.

I've ascended via White Pike and via Scale Knott, and descended via both those and from the saddle down to the Mosedale Holly Tree, but has anyone ascended via Pillar Rake?
