Just like the Nidda cycle path, the cycle paths along the rivers should be standard on the Wetter to Laubach and the Usa to Saalburg with places where you can linger or with signs pointing to beer gardens, cafés and restaurants that can be reached by bike.

It is a really amazing structure. Since 1929, the train has been running over the 300 m long bridge at a height of 23 m over the Nidda.

An impressive building near Assenheim. You should definitely stop here and take in everything. Information board available.

The giant bench was and still is a real attraction on the bike path. It's fun to "climb" it and have your picture taken. 😅😅 The reason why this "bench" was installed there is interesting... to observe storks (at least that's what a dog walker told me). He said they're found all around Lich—just not in front of the bench. 😅😅
