Let's add something about the highlight "Wölfersheimer See." In addition to the multi-generational playground and soccer golf, there's now a new attraction: Adventure Golf... Just check out the highlights around the lake or Google it, it's definitely worth it.

Lake Wölfersheim is the largest in the Wetterau Lake District. It was formed from a former open-cast lignite mine.

Such a facility is great. There should be more opportunities to charge your e-bike on the go.

You can walk around the lake, although you won't see any water for part of the trail. However, there's a lot to do at Wölfersheimer See...a great playground, soccer golf, and soon, mini golf.

OK, acceptable as a stopover on a bike tour. Unfortunately, the lake is not suitable for swimming due to the poor water quality. Only the Trais-Horloffer (Inheidener) Lake is a bathing lake in the Wetterau lakes, and unfortunately it is completely overcrowded in summer. It is a real shame that there are hardly any natural or renaturalized bathing waters in central Hesse (which I sorely miss as someone who has moved here from the water-rich regions of eastern Germany).
