The Gundwiesensee, idyllically located in the Gundwiesen, is ideal for a short (or long) break with a view of the water and shore area. You can regularly observe gray herons here and, with a bit of luck, even catch a glimpse of a kingfisher.

Unfortunately, bathing in the lake has long been forbidden, but it's still worth a trip because it's just relaxing to walk around it and then stop off at the nearby fishing park ;) btw: 40 years ago you were still allowed to swim in it, I did my free swimmer there at the DLRG (the little house is still there) in this lake...

Beautiful pond with island. Reachable in a few minutes on foot from Walldorf. Lots of viewpoints on the lake and an easily walkable path around the lake.

Very popular excursion destination, as it can be reached on foot in a few minutes from the car park at the Jagdschloss Mönchbruch. Information boards on fauna and flora. The nutria already mentioned above can usually be seen.

Finally, most of the noise from Runway West is behind you. The lake is very idyllic.

Beautiful lake that invites you to go for a walk, because it can be walked around. The fishing park is nearby for refreshment and thirst. There is a cute rabbit enclosure at the campsite for the little ones.

No. 10 on our tour. Also used industrially and fenced. Only ride your bike outside when the weather is good, the path is pretty muddy when wet.
