From the east side of the Edertalsperre the very beautiful place can be reached via the route with the blue dot. Likewise the pulpit view of the dam of the Edersee. Ascent and descent are quite sporty for the first few meters. But it's worth it. Also because of the wonderful jungle of the national park.

The castle is privately owned. The Kellerwaldsteig leads directly past it on a path.
