Beautiful, well-kept hiking trails around the Malberg. Goats are currently grazing there to keep the impassable parts free.

The path is tough, but so is the view. The Landskrone is also visible from afar, for orientation. Only on New Year's Eve should you think twice whether you want to go here... because many people have the idea, fireworks are sometimes shot across, and if something happens then it could take a while for help to arrive (fortunately that didn't happen to us back then).

The summit of the Landskrone is a nature reserve. On the ruins there is a flat meadow area (former restaurant), a hut where you can take shelter in stormy weather, a few benches, parts of the ruins and a summit cross. The view is roughly the same as from the chapel. Overall, a nice spacious place

A fantastic view of the Ahr valley towards Bad Neuenahr; The Rosary Church is striking; and Ahrweiler behind it. In the foreground is the Ahrtalbrücke (A61) with a height of 55 meters - underneath is the Appolinarsquelle with the neighboring bottling plant.

A path with wooden railings leads over the highest elevation of the Rodderberg, from which one has a great panoramic view.

The view of the Siebengebirge opposite, especially the Drachenfels, Drachenburg, Petersberg is breathtakingly beautiful.

Formerly, basalt was mined on the Malberg. This created a crater, which is today a small lake. A great place for a break.
