This morning I walked the almost 16 km. Unfortunately, you can only rarely walk directly near the water. Unfortunately, apart from the asphalt band around the lake, there are no real hiking trails. It's ok for cycling and jogging, but not for hiking.

The 34.8-kilometer circular route around both lakes near Markkleeberg is a great experience. Although the path was well frequented, you can still find a place to rest and enjoy nature.
