The road is closed to motorcycles on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM. It's a lovely ride then.

A stupidly steep section that's not fun to ride. You have to brake hard downhill; the uphill is just a sweat. Better to take the Bollerbornstraße with its beautiful switchback.

The bronze sculpture "See and feel Paderborn" by Bernd Cassau stands in front of the market church. Touch models (also blind models or tactile models) are scaled-down, detailed three-dimensional replicas of entire cities or parts of towns, sights or monuments. Blind and visually impaired people can get a better idea of the shapes, structures and dimensions of the objects shown by touching them.

In 1682, Prince-Bishop Ferdinand von Fürstenberg laid the foundation stone for the Jesuit and University Church of Saint Francis Xavier, today's Market Church. After ten years of construction, it was consecrated on September 14, 1692. The post-Gothic design of the church had a major influence on the subsequent church construction of the Weser Baroque period. The Baroque altar, almost 21 meters high and a good ten meters wide, was completely destroyed in the Second World War and was completely reconstructed from 1989 to 2004 in eight construction phases using photos and templates. The cost: around four million euros.
