The Altenbeken Viaduct is an absolutely impressive structure and a real highlight for all hikers, cyclists, and railway enthusiasts! It is located in Altenbeken in the Paderborn district and is considered the landmark of the region, often also referred to as the "Viaduct in the Egge Mountains."

That's correct, and it was a good place to stop even fifty years ago. We often stopped by it on our walks from Neuenbeken.

The viewing platform on the Parnacken, which was built in 2014, offers a magnificent view of the Little Viaduct and the Beke valley towards Altenbeken.
