The chapel is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the Taunus region" Panel inside the chapel "A branch of the mother church of the mother church on the Johanniskirche near Bad Nauheim was built within the ramparts. The church, which is essentially medieval, belonged to the Teutonic Order in 1218 and was a place of pilgrimage. The associated settlement of Oberholzburg fell in the 15th century. Wüst." In summer you can hardly see anything from the bike path. You have to climb a bit on foot to get a view of the rocks.
