If you keep to the right when visiting the castle, you can crawl through a small opening and climb the castle. I find it very interesting that the rear tower has a proper platform at the top.
The 156 meter long Peterslahr tunnel on the former railway line of the Wiedtalbahn, which led from Linz to Altenkirchen, is illuminated and can therefore be accessed without an additional flashlight.
This somewhat inconspicuous little chapel is located directly on the dirt road that leads to Glockenscheid. The chapel is dedicated to Saint Apollonia, who is venerated as the patron saint of dentists.
