The Westerwaldsteig leads through beautiful nature with a lot of variety. Sure-footedness and sturdy shoes are highly recommended on many sections. A hiking trail that is simply fun and also doable for dogs. There are many free parking spaces and information boards along the Westerwaldsteig.

Great path that requires a certain level of fitness through narrow and steep passages. But definitely doable.

Very beautiful suspension bridge over the Nister! It swings slightly when you cross it - not easy for everyone to overcome :) Built in 2010 and at 37 meters long, it is the longest suspension bridge in the Westerwald.

Since the suspension bridges are the exception in this country, crossing the Nister quickly becomes a mini-event.
