The castle, made of unplastered quarry stones, is designed in the form of an unequal octagon, with the front and back slightly longer than the side and diagonal surfaces. The three-storey building consists of the first floor, which is also the main floor, a slightly lower ground floor and a mezzanine-like second floor. The building has a tent roof with a pavilion attachment, which in turn has an unequal eight-sided tent roof. On the front side of the castle there is a columned portico with a balcony, on the lattice of which the coat of arms of the von Sturmfeder can be seen. On the second floor there is an ox-eye in the middle, below which there is an inscription with the date of construction and renovation. On the top of the belvedere sits a wrought-iron flag dating from 1959, when another renovation was carried out. The interior of the castle is oriented towards the stairwell in the middle of the building. Living and working rooms are arranged around the stairwell, which extends from the ground floor to the first attic floor. The octagonal moated castle was built around 1782 by the barons von Sturmfeder. It is located in the natural castle park, which, like the English Garden in Munich, was designed by Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell.
