A very beautifully situated lake. Very crowded in summer, however. But it is always worth a break on the bike.

Enjoy your meal. Outside, lots of seating, parking spaces for bicycles, good view of Ebnise. Also many other benches and lawns to lie on.

The Zugwiesen were our destination and the reason for the hike and it was worth it. The wild geese have just had their offspring and you can also observe rarer birds

The term "lake" is a bit inappropriate here in my opinion. It is a biotope that was created on the Neckar years ago. Nature has regained the area made available here in an impressive way and you can guess what it might be like on a non-canalised river. Because areas flooded by the Neckar were created in this biotope, it gives the impression of a small lake. If you have patience and calm, you can fully enjoy the flora and fauna here.

Nice little lake at the lower end of the Felsenmeer. Directly adjacent is a nice rest area with a barbecue area and a relatively newly built pavilion.

Great observation platform to linger.

Actually a very beautiful forest lake, embedded in plenty of shade from trees. Unfortunately overcrowded on the weekends or public holidays. At the far end of the lake is Rader's beer garden, highly recommended. In addition, the Hotel Reich am Ebnisee is located at the front of the street, also with a beer garden, where you can enjoy Swabian food. There is another, small beer garden. You can also rent rowing boats or pedal boats. In summer the lake is refreshingly cool for a long time due to its location in the forest and the linen that flows through it. The water quality is so good that mussels live here.
