An inconspicuous elevation with a large cross and bench, even a summit book is present

At 480.5 m above sea level, the Stellerskuppe is the highest elevation in the Bad Hersfeld area. From 1935 to 1948 there was a wooden observation tower here. Some of the foundation remains can still be discovered and an information board shows historical photos.

The approximately 20 m high tower is an absolute highlight. You have a gigantic all-round view from above. Definitely worth a visit.

Here on the Ebigköpfchen (426m), you can enjoy the beauty of nature while taking a break. A table with two benches await you.

This vantage point is a little off the Fulda cycle path, but can still be seen from afar. The summit cross can be seen from afar.

If you ride the R 1 cycle path and cross the railway line in the direction of Morschen, you should take the short detour to the left (!) and visit the Kappelberg. Only about 250 meters north-east is the wooden cross on the (small) summit of the Kapellberg, which can already be seen from the cycle path. There is a rest bench and the summit book.
