Beautiful bridge over the Lahn. Here you can decide which side of the Lahn you want to take to get to Wetzlar. On the B49 or along the railway.

The detour of the Lahntalradweg over the ridge is no longer signposted. Due to the completed construction work on the exit from the B49 to Leun, the cycle path also remains in the valley. However, at least the section from the Lahn station to the new roundabout is not nice. From the roundabout I stayed on the right side of the B49 towards Weilburg. This path is not paved, but is easy to drive.

The view of the Lahn from this bridge is worthwhile in both directions. The bridge leads to Leun. The more strenuous detour of the Lahntalradweg cycle path can be avoided over a mountain ridge via the low-traffic road from Leun to Stockhausen. The road leads directly along the Lahn.

Beautiful new cycle path with many created wet biotopes. Currently, this area also serves as flood protection

Finally completed after a long construction period and very well done! Unfortunately, the signs coming from the direction of WZ are still missing.
