The sculpture "13/93" belongs to Erich Hauser's late works, which employ crystalline, fractured triangular forms whose vertical and lateral, drifting points reach towards the sky. The apparent splitting into individual geometric forms, however, does not lead to a fragmentation of the basic structure, but rather to a unity that is co-staged by the light. The prismatic decomposition of the body is reminiscent of the Cubist style at the beginning of the 20th century.

In 1995, the town of Weil der Stadt installed the fountain, which is fed by a spring near the mill. Blacksmith Gerhard Längerer from Renningen crafted the four copper figures: Shepherd (1999), Dog (2002), Sheep (2007), and Schäfle (2009). The shepherd figure represents Fritz Weida, the last full-time shepherd of Schafhausen.

This charming old Black Forest farm is tucked away in the dense forest in the heart of the Teinach Valley and now serves as accommodation and event venue. This means that catering is only available upon request or prior reservation for events such as Easter, Christmas, or for the monthly Sunday brunch.

A wide view of the Alb, a good surface, and a deep dip in the middle that lets you pick up speed for a bit. Always nice!
