It's part of the Ecovia do litoral trail. Nice boardwalk bridge with great view. On one side you see the ocean and on the other side the lagoon and golfcourse. Beautiful path into the dunes of Salgados.

The Farol de Alfanzina is a lighthouse on the southern coast of Portugal, near the village of Carvoeiro in the Algarve. The lighthouse, commissioned in 1920, helps ships navigate safely along the rocky coast. It is 23 meters tall and has a beam range of approximately 29 nautical miles. The lighthouse is popular with tourists and is located along the scenic Sete Vales Suspensos hiking trail.

Beautifully landscaped jetty with birdwatching options and paths to the beach

A great walkway for walking, running, or cycling through the lagoon. The middle section even features a birdwatching station.

Pay attention to the tides. The beach can be crowded at high tide.

Best for sunrise, heading east. We were unfortunately late, but the morning was still amazing, with few people and great light.

Along the coast you will come across such great rock passages again and again. Unfortunately, they are not always easy to reach. Sometimes walking doesn't get you anywhere, so climbing is the order of the day.
