The castle ruin Waldenburg is a beautiful little castle ruin in the middle of a great forest. There are also small wooden benches so you can take a rest. There is also an information board to find out more about this ruin.

The small reservoir was created in 1971 with a 17-meter-high dam, and because the lake is quite small, the water warms up quickly. Here you'll find a beautiful bathing area, a large sunbathing lawn, and a small kiosk where you can buy snacks and drinks. A perfect place to relax and cool off.

At the summit of Homert you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and valleys of the Sauerland. The climb up the 656 meter high mountain is very worthwhile. When you reach the top, take a little time and enjoy the panorama and the clean air.
