Although the "Altes Forsthaus" is privately owned and not accessible, it is still worth stopping and looking at.

Haus Egelborg is a moated castle, the oldest part of which was built in the Dutch Renaissance style. A very beautiful manor house, which is circled on three sides during the tour. A must-see if you're in Legden. It's also not far from Legden train station, so easily accessible by bike or on foot.
