At Münchner Freiheit, right in front of the Cafe Münchner Freiheit, you'll find these two legends: director Helmut Dietl and actor Helmut Fischer, better known as Monaco Franze or Der Ewige Stenz. Both made film history and still have many loyal fans. Helmut Dietl was originally installed at Schwabing Tor, a few kilometers further north, but after various citizen suggestions, he was moved and now sits next to Helmut Fischer.
