Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful sections of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. It invites you to simply dismount, sit by the Ruhr and let your thoughts wander. It is also a good place to take a break.

Completely incomprehensible why this beautiful river section is missing in the Komoot-Colleciton Ruhrtal-Radweg. Luckily this is signposted.
