The tension rose... and after the next hill, the Bergdoktorhaus appeared in front of us. Oh dear, what was going on there... a tractor with a trailer was just standing there and with it about 35 people who had booked the driveway with a guide. And when we were standing in front of the courtyard a little later - an employee behind a fence grinned at us - on the sign admission price 9 € per person - amazing! But love didn't go that far - 18€ for the Gruberhof and with 35 other people - no thanks, we'd rather go for that eat well in the Elmauer Hof….

definitely a nice area there

. The "Gruberhof", located on the sunny side of the Söller Bromberg at around 1000 meters above sea level, is in the film the family mountain farm and the home of the mountain doctor, his mother, his brother Hans and his daughter Lilli.

Here you can eat delicious food and relax. The hut can be reached in just under 1 hour from the Kaiserlift mountain station.

Nice hike along the stream. Unfortunately, entry to the Bergdoktorhaus costs €9. It's not worth it.

Small, rustic alpine pasture away from the mainstream. There's really good buttermilk here and a sufficiently large menu with authentic dishes - the detour to Walleralm is definitely worth it!

Dream view and good map. The bacon dumplings were great!

Great view from the Wallner Hütte, especially when the uphill is done. Nice hut landlady, self-service
