The journey from the village center of Niederau to the Markbachjoch (1,500 meters) takes just eight minutes. Several beautiful hiking trails start at the mountain station. Not far away you will find the Markbachjochalm, where you can stop off. The railway is operated from the beginning of May to the end of October.
