One of many highlights of Jægerspris alongside the castle. Dismount and wander around the red brick buildings and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Danner Cafe or the excellent ice cream shop nearby offer a welcome reward.

Picturesque red brick mill close to Roskile Fjord. The area is quiet and peaceful, so it's a lovely spot to stop for a break.

A mill worth seeing and a good resting place just before Jægerspris Castle. The mill is only open on Saturdays.

Super delicious ice cream, especially soft serve. Definitely try it in a homemade cone. Directly across from the eastern end of the castle park.
