Grenen is the northernmost point of Denmark, where the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas meet in a striking clash of waves. Visitors can stand with one foot in each sea, a unique experience at this dynamic sandbar. It’s also the dramatic endpoint of National Cycle Route 1, the Vestkystruten, which follows Denmark’s west coast. Swimming is prohibited due to strong currents, but the area is perfect for spotting seals and migratory birds.
