A perhaps not so noticed monument, which refers to the slaughter on the battlefields of the double battle of Jena and Auerstedt. Kapellendorf - the castle was a headquarters of the Prussians and the allied Saxon and Thuringian troops. There is a well-known, large, impressive monument on Sperlingsberg near Kapellendorf. Not far from him, this monument commemorates the battle of October 14, 1806. It was dedicated exactly 100 years later in memory and is located on a dirt road.
