Approx. 15 min. climb to the Wildenstein Waterfall. The highest free-falling waterfall in Europe. It's definitely worth it.

Impressive waterfall with a drop of 50 meters. The highest of its kind in Europe. From the car park, the path takes you up to the waterfall in serpentines and is sometimes quite steep, taking another 15 minutes. The path is closed to bicycles!

You should walk this gorge with a little courage and good shoes.

A fantastic landscape in the extreme south of Austria. The high nearby mountains and wild water are gorgeous. Towards the end there are many steps where you should hold on tight. The waterfalls are good for time-lapse photography. You should always keep an eye on the bus timetable, as it only runs about every 2 hours.

Really spectacular gorge up and down. From parking lot 1 (costs €3 for the whole day) it takes about 25 minutes to get to the entrance of the gorge. From then on it gets really nice. At the beginning the paths are still quite wide, like a hiking trail. After that they become narrower and narrower. Some of the steps are very high and vary in height. This is very stressful for kids. The greatest thing is the Tschako waterfall, then you go over the Devil's Bridge. It really deserves its name. It's best to go over it alone if you don't like it and it swings up and down a bit. There are several exits and there are bus stops that take you back to the parking lot free of charge.

Free entry to the gorge with the Kärnten Card. I recommend sturdy shoes.
