Very friendly hosts, also game dishes (probably always seasonal) which taste excellent, with the dog on the way there and back directly in front of the hut, keep a close eye on the alpine animals, although they are very peaceful.

Even if Helga is not open, you can always find something in the well-stocked winter room.

Good food, some fresh (roast pork), some ready-made (cordon). Very nice, extremely fast, reasonable prices I wouldn't have expected on the mountain (cordon around €16, schnitzel around €14), and a decent size. Very nice to sit on the terrace. I'd happily go back.

https://hainfelderhuette.at/ Visit our hut, which was newly built in 2005, and enjoy the peace, nature and the beautiful view. The Hainfelder Hut (922m) can be reached from Hainfeld or the neighboring communities of Ramsau and Kleinzell on comfortable hiking trails.
